The produce at our Aldi tends to go bad quickly. I bought moldy
strawberries once, but never returned them because at that time the Aldi
was too far away. Thankfully we have one close now. But I later found out
that Aldi has a double your money back guarantee, in that they will replace
an item and also refund your money if you have a problem with it. I do
occasionally buy produce there but I make sure it’s something I’m going to
use quickly. As for all their other items, we love them and their products
really are comparable to national brands. We love to buy our coffee there.
It’s tasty and a really great deal. I also love the fit and active vanilla
yogurt. It’s great with one of the graham crackers on the side. Reminds me
of cream cheese pie. Their eggs come from local farmers and they are always
at a great price. We love practically everything from there. I’m happy you
have a store near you. Great savings for the month for you!
i like to get their gogurts for the little ones, pretty big fan of their
sliced mozz, prov, colby, cheddar slices, (the slices arent too thick like
some name brands) new thing i found was premade guac, i add homemade pico
to it and its really good… their chocolate is the greatest… i get small
bars of dark chocolate… i really love aldi….
aldi french style sparkling lemonade in glass bottles.
Hope they come in and take over the lost Vons shops.
Why does Aldi feel the need to pay “vloggers” to make this video. Aldi is
pretty great, and this taints that feeling… If this is the new direction
after their founder is dead, then I feel sad…
$4 of 6 rolls of TP?? In Germany, Aldi Süd sells 10 rolls of TP for 2.50€!
(Or 8 rolls recycling TP for 1.80€!)
Our Aldi’s in the Midwest will mark items down to 10 cents that are close
to expiration date.
Nice video. I never even heard of these people before. I passed one of
their stores about two weeks ago and wondered what new business had moved
in to town. I’m definitely going to have to check this out. The shopping
cart thing looks like a great idea. Good job.
Great video! I preferred the Boulder napkins in the GREEN package, as they
are comparable to Bounty. The ones in the red package you have were too
rough for me. The green package is not available as frequently as the red
package, so I will buy the napkins elsewhere. I ALSO like the Boulder paper
towels that are comparable to Bounty.
The Aldi I’m going to right now is about six miles away. However, there is
one being built less than a mile from me!! Yay! It’s going to be laid out
the same way my current Aldi is, so there’s no having to learn where things
are in the new, closer store. It MAY be that all Aldis are laid out the
same way — smart idea!
I also like the idea of the quarter for the cart. I’ve seen maybe one cart
left in the parking lot of an Aldi. Maybe that person was just trying to
“pay it forward ” to someone anonymously, or maybe they just forgot. Rarely
does that happen. Nice not find a cart left in a parking space like people
do at other stores.
This is the second Aldi Haul where I’ve seen the groceries spread out over
the table. The other lady had seven kids and bought TEN gallons of milk and
maybe TWENTY dozen eggs. I was stunned, BUT I guess a month of shopping for
seven kids and two adults that works. Our Aldi limits customers to four
dozen when they on sale.
Eggs are 69 cents at our ALDI in NC.
We love Aldi! I love seeing new people who love it too! There are some
things that don’t taste as good but they are few and far between in the
opinion of my household! The shells and cheese is better than any I’ve ever
had as well as the frozen corn. Seriously, we’ve tried other frozen corn
and always end up going back to Aldi because it’s that good! Glad you love
it!
I’m making my first Aldi run tomorrow. Everyone I work with always talk
about all the great deals
Have you gone back to ALDI?
do they have low sodium foods
i don’t buy aldi milk, butter and eggs anymore since aldi is doing that
price dumping in costs of our local farmers here in germany. i mean 1 liter
milk (aground 1,8 oz if i’m right) for 0,42 € ?? that’s nuts!!
I love aldi! one is being built WALKING DISTANCE FROM ME!
…You’re so fun to watch. very bubbly ;)
So much junk food and processed crap! Although the fresh produce and meats
look decent.
Aldi come from Germany ? Since 1913…there are two Brothers…they dont
like the other one (sorry for my Bad english) so here in Germany are now
Aldi South and Aldi North…one Brother has one Aldi…You have Aldi South
there…here in Germany is every Food market like Aldi but most times a
Little bit better.
In newyork I love my ALDI
Have you tried ALDI coffee and which one you like
that is a ton of food for $100!!!!
Haha I live in Germany and Aldi is a normal store here like Target in the
USA think thats so funny?
Thank you learning so much
I love shopping there too. I’m in New York and our store looks the same as
the one you were shopping at. I love the prices of the cheese, the eggs and
milk, the cereal, crackers, peanut putter, spices, frozen ground beef and
bread. Canned soups and pastas are good too. Really I have not tried
anything that I didn’t like. I actually prefer the Aldi brand cereal to
many of the brand name. Cereal is such an overpriced rip off at the regular
grocery store. It’s refreshing to see it priced for less than $2 at The
first time I went I remember I didn’t know you were supposed to step to the
counter and bag your stuff yourself up there. Once you get the routine down
it really works well and the line moves very fast.
Hello
Iwanted to tell you something about the “aldi brands” because they do not
exist:
Every so called Aldi Brand is nothing but renaming a very well known in
lots of cases Market leading Brand.
There are even Books out there in wich you can check wich Aldi Brand is
produced by wich Real Brand`s Company
So dont be surprised by the good quallity of Aldi Brands since they are
most of the Time just relabed or exclusivly produced Products by market
leading Brands
Most of the Time the fine print already tells you who realy made it
Did you know that Aldi and Trader Joes are owned by cousins from the same
German Family? I have found so many crossover products at Aldi that I am
certain are just packaged under their label but are the same product as
Trader Joes. I love both of those stores! Unfortunately my city does not
have TJ’s …..but we have had Aldi since the 80’s at least…maybe the
70’s. We used to call it the poor people grocery store (shopped there a lot
in college 😉 ) I absolutely love it still!
